Craig Alan Satterlee currently serves as bishop of the North/West Lower Michigan Synod of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America. He has served in this role since September 2013.

In this role, Bishop Satterlee preaches and teaches the apostolic faith of the Church and shepherds the rostered leaders and congregations of the North/West Lower Michigan Synod, exercising both pastoral care and discipline. He provides for Word and Sacrament ministry within the territory of the North/West Lower Michigan Synod, including the Church’s power to ordain, and oversees the work of the Church’s mission within the territory of the North/West Lower Michigan Synod. Finally, he gives witness to the unity of the Church as a member of the ELCA Conference of Bishops and as the North/West Lower Michigan Synod’s chief ecumenical officer.
