I’m excited to share the New Basilica Community on Patreon! The name pays homage to Saint Ambrose by referencing both what fourth century Milanese Christians called the Basilica of Sant’Ambrogio and how I refer to the location where I share the fruits of my reflection on scripture, writing, intentional conversation, and preaching.
Yet, to our surprise and delight, we discovered that the heart of the New Basilica is community. It’s become a place for people to gather, reflect on and share ideas, and have genuine, thought-provoking conversation. In a time where community can be hard to find and sharing thoughts can feel unsafe, I really cherish this community we’ve created. With that in mind, I seek to create content that supports this community and my love of teaching, learning, conversing, and reflecting.
I invite you to watch a welcome video below and visit the New Basilica to learn more about the different membership options!
